FOURTH WIN FOR FEARLESS GIRL
The winner of the Titanium Grand Prix for 2017 is ‘Fearless Girl’, entered by McCann New York on behalf of State Street Global Advisors (SSGA).
This is the fourth Grand Prix for the ground-breaking campaign following earlier wins in the Outdoor, PR and Glass categories. The Fearless Girl’ campaign relates to a fund set up by SSGA to support companies with high levels of gender diversity in senior leadership. To promote the fund, McCann placed a statue of a young girl — Fearless Girl — in front of Wall Street’s iconic Charging Bull statue. Titanium & Integrated Jury president Tham Khai Meng, co-chairman and worldwide chief creative of officer, Ogilvy & Mather said: “The quality of the (Titanium) entries was incredible. The top four are world-changing stuff, mould-breaking enough to inspire me as a creative.”
The Integrated Grand Prix went to ‘Boost Your Voice’, a campaign for Boost Mobile from 180LA Santa Monica. This campaign saw Boost Mobile stores become election polling stations. Khai said this category is “no longer about integrating different media like print, social media, radio. It is also about integrating that into the fabric of society and culture.”
